About me

Portrait of Ethan Wilson
HUMAN, MOSTLY · UNIT #001

I'm Ethan — a computer science student who keeps ending up wherever software enters the physical plane.

I started at Langara in Vancouver and transferred to UBC. I've always had an interest in robotics, and through my university's aerospace design team, our autonomous drone work earned an Innovation Award at the AEAC student UAS competition. Writing code that has to behave in the physical world — or wherever code can change businesses and lives for the better — that's where I want to be.

The long-term mission: prosthetics. Robotic arms that give people function back. Between here and there: graduating (unless a co-op grabs me first), some personal projects, and a handful of hobbies.

“What I don't know now, tomorrow will teach me.”
